FANFARE OF HOPE AND SOLIDARITY for orchestra performed by the Capital City Symphony, Ingrid Lestrud conductingat the Atlas Performing Arts Center in the H Street Corridor, Washington, DC. This is part of The Atlas Intersections Festival: a multi-disciplinary festival highlighting where arts and the world intersect. Their program will be using music to depict the journey that military service people take, from leaving home, to combat, to the joy of returning home, and the difficulties in transitioning back to civilian life. The orchestra is partnering with a local men's shelter to highlight the work they are doing to support unhoused veterans in Washington, DC.
